Engineered to Protect Product Quality

Gentle Transfer

Low-speed cable and disc movement helps reduce attrition, breakage and product degradation.

Dust-Tight

Sealed tube construction controls leakage and helps protect operators and plant cleanliness.

3D Routing

Route horizontally, vertically and around obstacles with one continuous conveying path.

Hygienic Design

Stainless steel options and easy-clean layouts support food, pharma and high-purity processes.

ϟ

Low Energy

Mechanical cable conveying can reduce energy use compared with many pneumatic conveying systems.

Modular Layout

Multiple inlets, outlets, inspection sections and routing options can be configured for your plant.

Real UNITFINE tubular cable conveyor routing examples

How It Works

  1. Material enters through the inlet hopper at controlled feed rate.
  2. Polymer discs attached to a flexible cable move inside the sealed tube.
  3. Material is carried gently in pockets between the discs.
  4. The product discharges at one or multiple outlet points.
  5. Cleaning and inspection points can be added for process requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a tubular cable drag conveyor?

It is an enclosed conveying system that uses a cable with polymer discs to gently move bulk materials through a sealed tube.

When should I choose cable drag instead of chain drag?

Cable drag is often selected when gentle handling, flexible routing, hygiene and lower product degradation are key priorities.

Can it convey fragile materials?

Yes. It is suitable for fragile granules, cereals, nuts, pet food, snacks and other friable materials when properly sized.

Can the conveyor be cleaned?

Yes. Inspection sections, dry cleaning tools and CIP-style options can be designed according to your material and hygiene requirements.

What information is needed for quotation?

Please provide material name, bulk density, particle size, capacity, conveying distance, vertical height, number of inlet/outlet points and cleaning requirements.

Need a Gentle Conveying Solution?
